On the nose, the wine shows flowery notes with citrus hints. On the palate, it is round, with yellow fruit flavours, the fullness being balanced by a nice freshness.

Skin- contact maceration and low temperature fermentation.
In the last ten years the wines “ Château du Rouët” have obtained 22 medals at the “Concours Général Agricole” in Paris, as well as the “Concours des Grands Vins de France” in Mâcon, and among them 6 gold medals and 4 silver medals. At the “Concours des Vinalies Nationales” (Union of Oenologists of France) 10 distinctions have been awarded.
