Frank red colour. The nose is rich, showing gemmy notes of small red fruits. On the palate the wine is supple, fruity and elegant, with hints of spices on the finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Carbonic maceration and controlled fermentation. The Grenache and Syrah grapes ferment traditionally. The blend matures in large oak barrel and in concrete vats.

In the last ten years the wines “ Château du Rouët” have obtained 22 medals at the “Concours Général Agricole” in Paris, as well as the “Concours des Grands Vins de France” in Mâcon, and among them 6 gold medals and 4 silver medals. At the “Concours des Vinalies Nationales” (Union of Oenologists of France) 10 distinctions have been awarded.
